Infrared Search and Track Sensor#

A passive heat sensor that finds targets for the sights. It sends out nothing, so it cannot be detected or homed on. It sees a contact by its heat: a large booster in thin air at about 250 km, and less against the ground. Each sensor covers a 120° cone, so several pointed different ways give all-round coverage. Every search sensor on a craft feeds one shared list of contacts, which the craft's sights can track.
